CONTENT: 70% Modal, 30% Polyester
FIBER BENEFITS: Modal is naturally soft on the skin (like silk) and exceptionally eco-friendly. The bio-based fibers used to make Modal are produced using Edelweiss® fiber technology (see below process). The higher the percent of Modal fibers, the finer the fibers and the softer the fabrics. The finest luxury textiles are no longer just a dream, fabrics which envelop the body in a touch of lightness, have become a reality. The textile is processed under conditions to produce a fiber that is stronger and more stable when it is wet to allow a longer lifespan and durability in weather and body conditions.
FIBER TECHNOLOGY/PROCESS: Edelweiss "noble white" when translated from German, uses 100% oxygen based bleach for the fibers. The oxygen-based chemistry is more eco-friendly than any other conventional process. The production of the fibers are a close-looped process (raw fabric is produced at same site as the modal fiber itself so that production can reduce energy and other resources). Modal fibers are extracted from Beechwood trees, unique to Europe for ages, producing fibers that give each and every textile a natural image and soft touch.
